Suitable Venue: Tip #11

You don’t have to build a cottage out back to write, but you do have to find a spot that is distraction free. Some writers do well at training their brains to tune out outside distractions, However, if you’re like the majority of people, you’ll need quiet, comfortable space in which to write. Don’t forget to get up, stretch your legs, your fingers and your brain every so often. And disconnect from the internet and the phone while doing the actual writing. Pop-up, e-mail and the phone will suck up your writing time and arrest your productivity. Give them their own time and space and don’t let them monopolize your writing time.
